My professional career started with Huntec Ltd. in Toronto, 1964, and then was followed by a consultancy job for the UN working offshore in Burma. In 1966, I joined Geophysical Service Inc. of Dallas, Texas; the geophysical company which has since been taken over by Halliburton Geophysical Inc. and then Western Geophysical. During that time, I had the opportunity to work in Dallas, Texas; London and Bedford in England; Cairo, Egypt; as well as Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey. My work involved visiting all the Middle Eastern and North African countries and most of the Far Eastern and European countries. I have been an independent geophysical consultant since 1994.
